More seriously:Faith are kind of boring, generic DC sounding punk/guitar-rock/"emo" junk. Void were crazy, noisy, and definitely a huge influence on more modern punk/hardcore. I also enjoy Void more. However, there were some awesome bands on the Faith axis--Embrace and Ignition specifically.

void, on the other hand, are blistering and evil on that record. "i'm so fucking... filled with hate!" something something, "it's time to die you're next!"... yeah, i haven't gotten that song out of my head since the first time i heard it. classic.
i picked up a void 7" on blue vinyl or something a few years back, some reissue, and was actually a bit disappointed. "time to die" may have been a fluke, ok, but accidental or no, it was like a window onto the godhead...

Also, Faith is THAT bad.

Void supposedly got really weird-metal later on. I've never heard the album they recorded for Touch & Go, but that label's been promising to finally release it one of these days. (Almost twenty years after it was recorded...)
Friends have owned bootleg tapes of that metal album in the past, and say it's pretty disappointing but is interesting and worth hearing. Hopefully it's better than that final No Trend album that Touch & Go was smart enough to pass on.

Fucked Up - dig em at least for their psycho prog take and the band names - Mustard Gas? Concentration Camp? Large Lad?. Missed em in Leeds too.
Poison Idea????? Thought they'd all passed away. Or fallen through the stage. Sorry. Kings of Punk.
Will try the rest Colonel. Cheers

Pig Champion just died yeah, but they managed to squeeze out an album just prior, and it's pretty good. Although perhaps not up to Pick Your King/Kings of Punk/Feel The Darkness standards.

I thought of another one - Gauze just released a new album, their 1st in about 10 years I think - "get on rhythm of the poverty extortion". That kicks ass, but it would, it's Gauze!
