A site, perhaps weblog, that links (ideally annotated with intelligent reviews) to MP3s placed legally on the web for download?

I am thinking of signed artists who have just put up the odd MP3 as a taster, though I guess if someone with tastes I can relate to and a good writing style has trawled through MP3.com etc that might be interesting too.

The only thing like this I know of is http://www.radio.plus.com, which has links (often dead) to tracks played by John Peel.

seems like a bit of an anachronism these days but I noticed that http://www.epitonic.com/ has finally got it's makeover and resumed posting content again.

www.3hive.com links to mp3s from official band sites - updated pretty frequently.
