well.....ummmmmm.....what do you have?

Were I you, I'd sell the ones I no longer listen to with any regularity.

depends on how deep you are into your drug addiction, I suppose.

I make myself laugh...

BurmaKitty (BurmaKitty), Monday, 17 February 2003 00:38 (twenty-three years ago)

i'd offer to buy any early Flying Nun vinyl you had, but since I'm in the middle of selling off my own records that would be silly of me

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Monday, 17 February 2003 00:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah sell the ones you dont listen to much really or at all

Michael B, Monday, 17 February 2003 01:07 (twenty-three years ago)

If you have the George Ensco Plays Bach Sonatas 3 LP box set laying around you might want to sell that.

And if you think you have David Bowie's Diamond Dogs in the "genitals cover" edition hidden away somewhere, it'd be a good idea to dig that out.

And if you're tired of your Butlers with Frankie Beverly "Because of My Heart" single on Rouser Records, there is a demand for it.

Mean Guy, Monday, 17 February 2003 01:10 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah, sell your first state Butcher Cover. and any spare early Northern Soul and Psych records you have lying about

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Monday, 17 February 2003 01:14 (twenty-three years ago)

OMG, that is hilarious! That lucky sap didn't even know what he had with that Frankie Beverly thing! Unbelievable.

Mr. Diamond (diamond), Monday, 17 February 2003 01:19 (twenty-three years ago)

compare that to the rest of the shite he's selling

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Monday, 17 February 2003 01:48 (twenty-three years ago)

Sell the thing you love the best. It will come back to you.

Skottie, Monday, 17 February 2003 01:52 (twenty-three years ago)

BurmaKitty (BurmaKitty), Monday, 17 February 2003 01:57 (twenty-three years ago)

compare that to the rest of the shite he's selling

Actually he's selling some other cool stuff as well. Just nothing else super-rare.

A.H. (A.H.), Monday, 17 February 2003 02:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 18 February 2003 13:26 (twenty-three years ago)

wow... the 'genitalcover' diamond dogs (LP not included!) was sold for $3,550, the frankie beverly thing for a mere $7,200...

willem (willem), Tuesday, 18 February 2003 13:41 (twenty-three years ago)

stick your for sale records on your web page (like Hamish and Liz do) -- move around your collection and call out the sale-able ones and have someone typing them into your computer (stock-take style)

you could run your collection like an on-line record store (it sure looks like one) -- do you really need those three toy love singles for instance ? why not just record them onto you computer ? maybe wait for the $US to go up again, but it is probably a good time in history to sell them right now -- and the funhouse gatefold i presume ? that's money for old rope

or stop saying no to requests
