"One more nail for Monica Edwards!"

This is what I shouted while listening to Westwood recently, playing - I think - 50 Cent's "In Da Club" (though it might have been something else). Monica Edwards was a British children's writer of the post-war outdoor/adventure/countryside ilk - http://www.punchbowl.freeuk.com and http://www.monicaedwards.co.uk should give it away. Somehow 50's post-industrial rumble (the song sounds like it HASN'T BEEN PRODUCED AT ALL - I heard it another time and just said "Coil", dunno why) hit me like never before: I could only feel as though I was pushing another nail in the coffin of people who are still, theoretically, much more my cultural antecedents than Run DMC will ever be.

I suppose this is a roundabout way of asking: what is the most seemingly irrelevant, absurdist, out-of-context remark you have made about a particular record?
