Um... that's "Superchunk," not "Superchink." Different band entirely. :)

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 23 February 2003 07:30 (twenty-three years ago)

Cool mix, Kenan. Was this just a mish mash or are these songs tied together in some way? I always thrown together some comps but I never really put much thought into it (although I don't put Otis Redding together with Pere Ubu).

Adam A. (Keiko), Sunday, 23 February 2003 22:58 (twenty-three years ago)

And two notes on that:
1) I was very pleased with myself for discovering that Earth Wind & Fire are the missing link between Data 80 & ABBA and 2) I was very shocked to hear how good "Still Ill" sounds over computer speakers. Strangely, it sounds much better than on a stereo (the BBC version anyway)

Adam A. (Keiko), Sunday, 23 February 2003 23:02 (twenty-three years ago)

That Bowie song is great, one of his best.

Mr. Diamond (diamond), Sunday, 23 February 2003 23:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Was this just a mish mash or are these songs tied together in some way?

Not by anything but sound. I take pains with the running order, but not with any "theme."
