Great LP is the self-titled The David Grisman Quintet -- I know shit about bluegrass, but this is nice melodic mountainman improv. Tony Rice on guitar. Also search the version of Miles Davis' "So What" Rice, Garcia and Grisman released as the Pizza Tapes.

I've got lots of his stuff -- mostly great. Dawg plays in many styles and is one of the prime examples of Bluegrass/Jazz fusion.
