Anoushka's friend in the top photo is like OMG HOT! However, the two single beds are a buzz killer, as is the bottled water. Still, I'm so there and how!

Norah and 1/2 sis score BIG points with the 4-eyes and pretty smiles...buzz killer again with the pop bottle. Still, I say give em' both HOTS!

What is so wrong with her music? I can understand not being into it and ignoring it, but what exactly is so awful about it? She's got a nice voice, probably the best female singing voice on pop radio today. She's quiet and subtle, very understated. I appreciate that in this world of over-singing pop divas. Just tune her out if you're not into it. It's not as if nearly as obnoxious and over the top as most radio pop (good or bad) these days.

And for the record : yeah, she's beautiful.

I think people like to hate on her because she is so popular and won Grammys. If she was just some chick who sold a few thousand records, nobody would get their panties in a bunch over her. But since she's hailed as THE HOT NEW THING, she makes a good target. Ditto for me hating Eminem.

well she's hardly beautiful.... and I've actually heard some good things about the album.

Ah... I forgot... she's popular. She sells records. She's won Brits. She's won Grammys.
All adds up to the backlash effect which allows people (who probably own and like the album) to openly slag her off. How weird.

For the record, she's got a sublime voice.... but I'd like to hear the album before I think of buying it.

i liked her the first time i saw her, which was on the Willie Nelson tv special. every thing i've learned about her since has devalued my opinion of her, and now I am pretty sure she is just gussied-up mall trash homegirl with nice voice. not that there's anything wrong with that, i just prefer authenticity to industry projects.

no edge. i've gushed about her on other threads but she is seriously one of the nicest people i've ever interviewed. i don't usually think you can tell a whole lot about someone from how they act in an hour conversation, but this was her with all her friends from her little willies band, and she was completely nice and funny and friendly. her boyfriend seemed like major-league nice guy too.
