Biggie Smalls - Life After Death: Which disc has more filler?

M Carty (mj_c), Thursday, 27 February 2003 15:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Bad Company UK: I prefer the Best of the Bad mix disc to the Shot Down on Safari "new album" disc.

Cody ChesnuTT: both discs ace, play #1 more often because it's longer and contains "Bitch, I'm Broke."

Neudonym, Thursday, 27 February 2003 15:47 (twenty-three years ago)

I was listening to Pulp's Countdown 1992-1983 the other day and thinking how Disc One blows away Disc Two entirely (but Disc One is basically Seperations with Death Goes To The Disco tacked on anyway.)

Al (sitcom), Thursday, 27 February 2003 17:48 (twenty-three years ago)

Oneida Each One Teach one--the 1st disc i have found as yet unlistenable, but i expect this will change once i widen my circle of drug dealing acquaintances.

ann mccarthy (shiz), Thursday, 27 February 2003 17:54 (twenty-three years ago)

69 Love Songs is easily Disc 2 for me. I'd have a harder time choosing between Disc 1 & 2 of Rheostatics double Live or Sloan's Four Nights At The Palasis Royale.
Aphex Twin's Drukqs is disc one all the way.

Ian Johnson, Thursday, 27 February 2003 19:51 (twenty-three years ago)

I got one disc of Life After Death for free, but I never listened to it because I wanted to hear the whole thing. I have a feeling this is a BIG mistake (i love ready to die), but I've never bothered to rectify it.

I have only listened to the second disc of Wilco's Being There once. The first disc is wonderful.

Adam A. (Keiko), Thursday, 27 February 2003 23:17 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes, the first disc of Being There is wonderufl, Wlco trying there hand at being rockist is to be saluted.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 28 February 2003 06:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Absolutely disc 2 of 69LS, even though you have to skip the first few tracks. Disc 5 of the Anthology of American Folk Music (though disc 1 and disc 4 (and disc 7) for each of the volumes). Disc 4 of Fast, Loud, and Out of Control or whatever that Rhino 50s box set is called. Disc 2 of Laurie Anderson's United States Live. Disc 1 of the Complete Webern. Disc 4 of the Raunchy Young Lepers box set.
