After that, it was fun to watch each successive single get DULLER and DULLER and DULLER.
Additionally, "Drive" was so overplayed that I hated it at first, but it got played so much that it grew on me, and then it got played so much that I got sick of it.

Never great, but "S.C.I.E.N.C.E." is definitely a catchy album.
but boy, when they started doing shit like the boring pop they started on Make Yourself, zzzzzzzzzzz. "Pardon Me" and "Drive" actually worked from that album, but further albums were...zzzzzzzz

I have still never heard early Incubus, and all my friends who've cast off their other favorite high school bands will still ride for early Incubus, so maybe I need to give Fungus Amongus a shot.

I'm wondering what it sounded like in comparison to S.C.I.E.N.C.E., which was still entrenched with funk but starting to become pop-friendly....

i mean i liked a few random tracks of theirs, my brother played the shit out of them so it was a little unavoidable in a way.
― teledyldonix, Wednesday, 2 June 2010 18:04 (sixteen years ago)
i liked them in high school, and i've always stuck by them in a way. i don't think there's an album of theirs that i love, but their last one was pretty solid. but they're not consistent enough to really be a great band.
