My money's on Corey, who could have a really great career, but Ruben rocks and so does Charles Grigsby and Trenyce (who laid it down with the Al Green cover, representing Memphis the way it should be). I just hope it's not Joshua the Marine guy, because he's not that great a singer.

I guess this could also be a place where boring people bitch about how this isn't real music, or real TV, or whatever; I'm no thread fascist. But I really want to know, if anyone's watching this, what people think.

Lady Jessica enjoys it, so I'm sorta stuck watching, while doing other things like making compulsive and trivial lists on this here message board. I can say for sure that the "rock" guy totally sucks. What a poser.

The rock guy is long long gone. But for the record, I am addicted to this show. And I kinda hope one of the black girls win, just to make up for the whole Tamyra debacle last season.

Kenan: yeah, Tamyra will be around long after Kelly and Justin are gone, so don't worry about the racial angle too much...except, of course, that the voting public is much more likely to vote for white people or an African American male. Not sure why but that's the way it goes; also, Trenyce won't probably win because she is unconventional-looking. But it's not all about looks, and I think Clay actually has a good shot in that whole "oh he's so nice" way...and his voice is not bad at all.
