nicolai dunger S or D?

I must say I am very taken with Mr. Dunger. I played it for my pal Tovah who recoiled in horror, apparently the Van Morrison thing was too much for her to handle. I hear more than a little Kevin Coyne in the vocal phrasing too, but overall, the three records I've heard of his I've liked very much. Any other opinions?

A couple fo fine songs anyway but also a definite Van vibe - and this has turned off people I knwo who hate Van.

it's better than the Oldham collaboration IMO, but not as good as Soul Rush

one year passes...

Revive!

As I gracefully approach my 40th year it's guys like this that keeps me the freshest guy on the block! Ack. But really, this is fine stuff, and while nobody else seems to hear it I readily visage glimpses of a folky Thom Yorke - listen to Sangen over bron (posted on his myspace page) and tell me i'm crazy.

Search: Rösten Och Herren, Tranquil Isolation, and Soul Rush

Destroy: This is my Song...

I landed a copy of the Vinyl Trilogy box a couple month's back - but haven't had the opportunity to run through it yet - can't wait.

Ack.

Haha. I feel the same way, four months shy of my 40th birthday.

Soul Rush is okay, but it all kind of washed together into an indistinguishable hodgepodge for me.

RF, i presume?

Yeah, SR and TI could have been assembled into a single release - but that sweedish language album deserves a spin on it's own merits.
