Mascis vs. Prince. Who's Mind shall triumph?

Famous Athlete, Tuesday, 11 March 2003 04:10 (twenty-three years ago)

This is a stacked question, because both albums loom large in their respective genres. I'll say Green Mind, though, because I like other Prince albums more than I like Dirty Mind.

for the first time since I've been here on the boards, i'll have to say it's a tie. Nice one

I'm choosing Green Mind, by the way. Just because I don't really like Prince.

Famous Athlete, Tuesday, 11 March 2003 04:56 (twenty-three years ago)

Suspicious Mind(s) wins on the write-in ballot.

Matt Maxwell (Matt M.), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 05:04 (twenty-three years ago)

Prince, hands down.

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 05:33 (twenty-three years ago)

I like Green Mind better than YLAOM and Bug, and way more than Where You Been. So... Push.

Aaron A., Tuesday, 11 March 2003 06:07 (twenty-three years ago)

Dirty Mind.

hstencil, Tuesday, 11 March 2003 08:01 (twenty-three years ago)

oh please, is this some kind of joke? Prince in a fucking crawl

M Matos (M Matos), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 08:04 (twenty-three years ago)

The only thing that J. Mascis does better than Prince is turn up the volume knob on his stack.

don weiner, Tuesday, 11 March 2003 11:09 (twenty-three years ago)

never heard (of) dirty mind.

What Paul said.

Vic Funk, Tuesday, 11 March 2003 12:13 (twenty-three years ago)

another vote for "Prince, no frikkin' question".

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 16:41 (twenty-three years ago)

"Green Mind" is the worst Dinosaur Jr album, so it has to be Prince.

Siegbran (eofor), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 16:48 (twenty-three years ago)

C'mon this is no contest. Dirty Mind is like a top 20 all-time record for me. Dino jr. is ... ugh.

Mr. Diamond (diamond), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 17:44 (twenty-three years ago)

I must agree:

This is a stacked question, because both albums loom large in their respective genres.

Dirty Mind is a far SUPERIOR name for an album in BurmaKitty's book!
