most ppl who have heard MEV have heard MBV and are therefore able to comment. the same can't be said of some MBV fans.

amm vs mev on the other hand...

Hey, you're mean.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 15:54 (twenty-three years ago)

why take sides? The only thing that bums me out is that I've seen AMM, but I'll prolly never get to see MEV.

agreed. AMM live were amazing.
i don't know if i can compare the two. AMM more or less redefined the way i look at space in music. MEV however made me appreciate density. AMM certainly have a larger discography, but that doesn't mean anything.

amm live were damn good.

I have a few amm recs but only one MEV. yeah, its a draw I think.

heh - I've only been there once, and it was to wait for a drug delivery.

''Hey, you're mean.''

I'm like that sometimes ;-)

''why take sides?''

'cause I'm bored (not really, I should be writing a presentation).

at least this is longer than my iancu dumitrescu thread.

Keep on reachin' for the stars, Julio.

apples and oranges. Keith Rowe's endeavors vs either Curran's or Bryant's, though, and MEV wins.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 17:13 (twenty-three years ago)

ah, Ned but MEV do have an AMG entry.

DJ Martian (djmartian), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 18:01 (twenty-three years ago)

yes they DO - under two different names - one for the acronymn and one for Musica Elettronica Viva - and BOTH are missing CRUCIAL releases by the band - but let's not start on THIS again...
