M2 Brand New programme- 26th or 27th June- showed a track by a British rap group- they were Londoners- the song was about London street slang, explaining it to Americans. They were a bunch of blokes and a girl- Roots Manuva was in it but not rapping. The single/album mustve either come out in the last week or so or is going to come out over the next month. I think it's kind of a london WuTang type thing. Can anyone tell me the name of the group or the song please?

You could pssibly be thinking of the TORONTO rapper whose new song explains West Indian / Toronto (T Dot) slang to Americans. It includes a girl in the video. That guy's named Kardinal Offishall (as I explained on my sadly neglected thread a week or two back) and the song is "Bacardi Slang". It has been on M2 for a few weeks now. It is undoubtedly better than the W2-Tang Clan. (get it??)

The London Posse were the first people that came to mind but "How's Life In London" isn't about London slang. You'd know it because the chorus is all "All around the world they're going, 'How's life in London?'" The video's here.

I can't think of anything at the moment that it could be and it's really pissing me off because I know I've heard this track a while back and I'm sure I've seen it recently in a list of new releases. Rodney P and Skinnyman and Black Twang or something. Try UKHH.COM and see if you can spot any names that you recognise.

I think u got it twisted, i think who you r talking about is: Karl Hinds (Remix) - Don Grammer It features Seanie T and Blak Twang..... I think this is what your talking about....

57th Dynasty are the UK equivilent of the Wu Tang.....btw

Also Out Da Ville have got a big posse going, and theyve got a video that even got on MTV, so maybe that was who u were talking about...
