there's a duo recording of him and the (guy? girl?) from CCCC on SIWA that is one of my all time favorites.

I think he is a damn original voice for the instrument. he works hard at using silence and his squealing can frighten.

anyone got his rec on PSF: i'm thinking of getting that next week.

Classic with a capital C but a dud for his records for being hopelessly expensive and hard-to-find. His anti-vinyl views don't help his cause much. I've yet to hear Urklang but both Solo and Duo 1988 (with Hasegawa Hiroshi) are stellar; Solo ranks up there with Haino Keiji's Watashi Dake? as one of the best uses of silence on a record ever.

oh and there's a record called The Dark Spot which I reviewed for Muckraker many moons ago - I remmeber liking that one a lot too
