Actually, the Rickenbackers are kind of mixed low. The acoustic guitar is much more prominent.

The Beatles are so great. It depresses me that people don't see it, but whatever. I was going to post something to that thread where people dissed the Beatles "influence", talking about their harmonic innovation and whatnot, but then I said fuck it, why bother.

Don't fret, Mr. Diamond. It's not like the rest of the world has forgotten how great the Beatles are. The only reason I no longer own any of their records is because I have every single one of them memorized from beginning to end.

I'd love to answer the thread, but I don't know how to tell a Rickenbacker from a regular old guitar. Is there a trick?
