i like that cover, though. Radiohead's first non-terrible album cover.
it (um, the sign) doesn't try to discourage referance by saying this image means ALBUM COVER and nothing more--
(please call me on my hackneyed fake attempt at semiotics)

it doesn't shy away from the bands clear intent to create VAST SOUNDSCAPES.

i agree with Radiohead. real mountains just aren't mountainy enough.

Any good? It's Absu, the best US metal band since Slayer...

The artwork was done by Kris Verwimp by the way, and indeed it's absolutely gorgeous. Not surprisingly, the vinyl pressing was almost immediately sold out...
