Does fake hair count as makeup?

chaki (chaki), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Awkward wearing of mascara by guys usually means great music will result! But, uh, Dylan looked pretty dumb in that Kiss makeup, I gotta say.

s woods, Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:32 (twenty-three years ago)

okay. chaki wins. the threads over. nothing more to see here. move along.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:34 (twenty-three years ago)

chaki (chaki), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Your album is awesome! (Do you have an album?)

s woods, Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:38 (twenty-three years ago)

Beard AND makeup wins!

girl scout heroin (iamamonkey), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:40 (twenty-three years ago)

haha look at the budwiser sign in back

chaki (chaki), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:44 (twenty-three years ago)

Guy Chadwick apparently did the new romantic thing in the early eighties before the House of Love. Personally I think that would be hilarious to see.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 18:52 (twenty-three years ago)

There's just something about Tiga:

In the boudoir.

On the bench.

nabisco (nabisco), Tuesday, 18 March 2003 19:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Chaki, you rock!

Joe (Joe), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 02:49 (twenty-three years ago)

{;-|}->-<

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 02:52 (twenty-three years ago)

i know i never played a 5 string before! last night we opened up for Fat Wreck punx0rz STRUNG OUT. i was spitting the blood out of my mouth and it got all over the strings which made it sticky and even harder to play especially during Rush's Tom Sawyer!

chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 02:54 (twenty-three years ago)

catch the spirit
catch the spit

The Spiders From Mars vs Paul Thompson from Roxy Music.

Blunt working class northerners reluctantly forced to glam up.

"You want me to wear that? You must be fucking joking!"

James Ball (James Ball), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 14:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Most glam-rockers looked like mechanics in drag... Bolan and Bowie were members of a select group who wore it well... and what the f*** about Christina Aguilera's latest cosmetic catstrophes?
It's a bit more than make-up but this guy just kills me every time I see him... he seems seems to quite like it but looks epically ridiculous...

jeez, is that NEIL YOUNG up above? as if he didn't already look frightening enough!

mick hall (mick hall), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 15:10 (twenty-three years ago)

The Spiders From Mars vs Paul Thompson from Roxy Music.
"Wot'djumain...maaayke ope?"

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 15:54 (twenty-three years ago)

subtlety's the key.
all of abc wear make up on the cover/artwork
of 'lexicon...' but you can only see it if you look
close. michael caine's mascarra in
the opening scene of 'alfie' by the way, is so
thick he can bear hold up his head

piscesboy, Wednesday, 19 March 2003 16:22 (twenty-three years ago)

It upsets me that despite having aged well, Cope has gone out of his way to make himself look like a sinister filth encrusted hippie since the mid 80s. And now this brain donating business.

Though actually, he didn't ever actually wash before that did he? It's the hippie/Odinist bit that's the problem then. Not filth.

Ferg (Ferg), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 17:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Robert Smith always reminded me of Texas Chainsaw Massacre's Leatherface with make up, so the award has to go to him, really.
Fat men and make up never go well together.
Ask Boy George.....

russ t, Wednesday, 19 March 2003 17:05 (twenty-three years ago)

You're mean. Divine alone refutes you.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 17:18 (twenty-three years ago)

Divine was different, though. We can forgive Divine anything!

russ t, Wednesday, 19 March 2003 17:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Ain't nothing to forgive!

"I'm SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL I CAN'T STAND MYSELF!"
