Favorite Song that Firmly Espouses Secularism

In this era of faith-based intiatives and militant fundamentalism, I thought I'd send up a flare for those with the brains to express doubt and/or skepticism as to the plausibility and existence of a "higher power" through song.

I'll start....and confirm myself a seat on the train bound for Hell..

Curve - "Die like a Dog" - Peace in a world free from religion peace in a world where everyone gets heaven

XTC - "Dear God"

Firewater - "Knock'em Down" I don't believe in God, `cos he don't believe in me, and he never returns any of my calls

I second "Dear God"

Side note: what is that song that starts out with some snob remarking "I still believe in God, but he no longer believes in Me." ???

That would be "Wasteland" by the Mission.

I thought about listing it, but didn't.....as Wayne Hussey was raised a devout Mormon, and has since re-found the church, if I'm not mistaken.

Shouldn't be *that* hard to find. Every street in Salt Lake City is numbered relative to its distance from the Temple.
This gives you some idea how a modern Theocratic Dictatorship would function.

Wait! I remember one who sang the one with the refrain "taking jesus from the rear"

That's "Jesus Entering from the Rear" by the Feederz, and that's not secularism, that's simply giddy, profane blasphemy.

Can You Feel It - Fingers Inc
In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove /
And from this groove came the groove of all grooves /
And while one day viciously throwing down on his box, /
Jack boldy declared, "Let there be house!" and house music was born.
continued....
