To those of you who don't know anything about this: No, I am not speaking of L. Ron Hubbard. Now I have made that clear.

That being said, I think a lot of later electronic music has probably been influenced by Hubbard and other C-64 music makers. The arpeggio sounds that Orbital occasionally use, for instance...

I am particularly fond of his music for "Spellbound" and "Master Of Magic". Definitely some classic electronica there.

Absolutely classic !

Surely a lot of nostalgia involved when listening to the old tunes, but it's still amazing what kind of varied stuff he did on that little chip, from pop tunes to 10 minute symphonies with great sense of melody and arrangement, it shows he was a trained musician.
