How are/were they live? I just listened to that record the other night and thought they were fun...in that Strokes/Hives way where I couldn't imagine listening to it more than three or four times.

Just been browsing in well-known Soho 2nd hand record shop. Two employees nyah-nyahhing about the Libertines. "If the Ramones were still alive, they wouldn't get away with it! They're all manufactured these days!" Probable ages: what you'd guess they were.

Had to go back out into Berwick Street to laugh my head off.

saw them as a support - nothing special it has to be said i guess the mick jones side of them has rubbed off a little too much and they are attempting to live up to something they are not.

saw the mtv live broadcast of them, and I've never heard anything worse live! shame really, there are bits of the album that I really like.
