OK, maybe this is the year of British hip-hop, then. Or perhaps we could all sit around and listen to Jay-Z and 50 Cent instead. I dunno.

Anyway, yeah, album of the year contender, featuring Aspects on one track, and if you weren't sure that they were Aspects, they rhyme "Tijuana Brass" with "James Last", and then say "You're out of your depth bitch best fetch Mitch Buchanon".

I liked his track "English Lesson" from Revenge of the B-Boy. Is this any similar?

some of what i heard so far sounds a tad "wiseguys-ish" i thought uk hip hop had moved on a touch.

It's similar, Nate, yeah. 70s funk piano sample loops, the Akil and Chali 2na track sounds how the last J5 album should have sounded... actually, the entire album sounds like the last J5 should have sounded. With, like, actual songs and tunes on it.

Fun! Long too which was great, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to speak with him as he had to shoot off straight after but the manager said both him and his wife were lovely
