It's the next wave! Democracy vs a hostile enemy blessed with uranium rich soil!

OR

"Lump" vs errr, "Stillborn"

Cheeky Seattle geek-rock vs freeform noise-wank. FITE!

That should be "Presidents of the United States of America". Of "Peaches" fame.

Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" vs. the Swingers' "Ayatollah"

"I Ran" is better than anything TPOUSA were ever close to creating, so my choice would be Iran. :-)

Yes, but that wasn't my TS!

Foolish Americans.

hstencil, Friday, 28 March 2003 15:35 (twenty-three years ago)

Hmmm.. United States Of America did actually make a great album. Considerably tougher choice...

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Friday, 28 March 2003 18:44 (twenty-three years ago)

Presidents of the USA take it for the song "Naked and Famous" alone.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 28 March 2003 18:45 (twenty-three years ago)

They're both Saddam-loving liberals, but Iran takes it for "San Diego."

That first Iran album is lovely and it has tigers on the cover, which is cool. Iran trounces Presidents of the United States of America and defeats United States of America in a long drawn out battle waged with lo-fi recordings and analog electronic wooshes.

I don't like the medley at the end, so I pick the Flock. Because the Flock Rocks!
