The song's words sound like they might be loosely based on/inspired by an Amerindian legend of some kind. Is that the case? I am helping promote an information evening for a couple I know who are working in the States with the Amerindians, and I'd like to use the song, but not if it's just another piece of Hollywood fakery. Any information would be appreciated greatly.
