I never thought I'd find a band to hate more than Travis.

Then Coldplay arrived. I saw the 'Yellow' video and said: 'I don't want my pop stars to look like THAT'. The song was sooo shit I still can't get my head around anyone liking it. Whenever I hear a Coldplay song I get a hideous, ill feeling in my stomach (like torture) and I wish I was joking. Travis make my head sore, but Coldplay actually effect my stomach. Maybe I'm allergic.

it annoys me that people talk about Coldplay but its always just about Chris Martin and pics of JUST Chris Martin. i have no idea what the other people in the band look like, maybe they are even more non-descript as Martin but still...this must be what it was like for members of Simply red and Dave Matthews Band, and Sleeper. say what you will about The Strokes but at least Fab, Nicolai and co are as recognisable as Julian.

i kind of liked that Coldplay video on the beach, the one that was all one take, yeah, the "hit". the song was sort of plaintive and sad, though I had no idea what the words were about ("Coldplay" and "Yello" and "plaintive" sort of inevitably suggested wistful memories of golden showers gone off the boil, but that's kind of cool if you think about it)

but here's the thing: they have OTHER SONGS??
