Uh, that's only two. What does it say about me that the only album I really thought was any good was Floodland?

This Corrosion is as classic as it is hilarious -- and it's really hilarious. I only have their best-of, so all my other picks would come off there too. Vision Thing is, of course, relevant all over again (as is the title of the compilation, actually A Slight Case of Overbombing). I like that they're over the top and know it. They're not afraid to be ridiculous, since being ridiculous is kind of the point.

I saw the Sisters last night in Amsterdam but only caught occasional glimpses of past glories. Most of the set was dominated by dreary ‘Vision Thing’-type sub-metal. The new material was even worse. The heart-wrenching version of 'Never Land' was one of very few highlights.

Why oh why won't they spend less time on the road and more time in the studio? Actually, the most recent studio material of theirs I heard was the "Under the Gun" single (now a decade old, bizarrely)....which wasn't especially promising (read: crap).

A wise lesson for goths: stay away from distorted guitars. The world would be a better place if they did...

Listen to "Body Electric" right now and snap all your RN'B discs in half.

I'm weirdly digging 'Under the Gun' these past weeks. Has it always been that good?
