anyone seen the movie?

do ya think it's kinda weird that the band, who's lead singer looks like the dude from Coldplay, and the bass player is Lou Barlow, play an old Sparklehorse song in the recording studio over and over??

don't you think they could've just written a new song for the movie or just used that song in the background if they liked it so much?
