He said hello.
I didn't say anything.
He hung up.

I didn't say anything.

It was a given he was going to hang up on you. Why pass on the opportunity to tell him he's a miserable human being?

Andrew Frye (paul cox), Tuesday, 17 June 2003 00:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I've done the same exact thing to: Dan Rather, Steve Albini, Victoria Malkmus.

ILM stalkers reveal yourselves

I know. It was special though.

Why pass on the opportunity to tell him he's a miserable human being?

In what way is he a miserable human being?

Secret Agent X9, Tuesday, 17 June 2003 00:25 (twenty-two years ago)

in my hometown when i was a kid we used to call this guy Alfred Snowball and ask him if it was cold in his house. then this guy moved to town and his name was Bipin Dikshit-i don't know where you would have to be from to have that name-and we would just try and get him to say his name, but he never would. Then he got an unlisted number.

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Tuesday, 17 June 2003 01:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh. Right.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Tuesday, 17 June 2003 01:23 (twenty-two years ago)

he is accused of being a date rapist

Ah, yes, the Isaac Brock rumor that WILL NOT DIE. Not even after four years without any actual charges being filed.

Nick Mirov (nick), Tuesday, 17 June 2003 01:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, the length of time since the alleged incident doesn't exactly decay the severity of the charge, you know. I've met the girl in question, and one of my best friends is quoted in said article (not telling who). It's mutually agreed that we will never really know the 100% truth, and hope that everyone involved has been able to put this behind them.

at the very least it does appear we can convict him of being an asshole

But then, we all stand guilty.

King Kobra (King Kobra), Tuesday, 17 June 2003 16:48 (twenty-two years ago)

In college I released a 7" titled "Free Isaac Brock (so I can kill him myself)"
I was really proud of that for a while,
