Oi! Hands off DDB! It was bad enough when some rock band from New Zealand wrote me asking where I got "Masonic Boom" from. Erm, I MADE IT UP. It is COPYRIGHTED to me. Fuck off now. Grrrr.

Chris Clark (Chris Clark), Thursday, 19 June 2003 14:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, I was about to say, "EXCEPT slumber party, or the whomever's currently in the two revolving female spots in Outrageous Cherry."

Slumber party are actually a funny case. They went from this: Slightly geeky, a little twee, cute chicks who worked in bookstores & the like(all this = HAWT, of course)

to playing a drunk & scruffy & Gretchen in this one-strap halter-top thing & all GARAGE ROCK & shit. yes, that certainly a fun way to be live, but we've come to this show for the droney stuff, thank you.

or, at least, they were the last time I saw 'em. What their next album should sound will be interesting.

still cute, tho, but a bit more...uhm...affected by image consultants, shall we say. Or not. Whatever.

Kingfish (Kingfish), Thursday, 19 June 2003 15:14 (twenty-two years ago)
