I assume you're going for opposites here, but:

I went to Christian death metal concerts when I was a wee one. At "God's Place" - divey little place that had punk and metal concerts. Right after I stopped going, they bought a building next door to throw Christian raves. Ugh.

I'd say Death Metal is the inverse of Christian music as far as thematic content is concerned, but I'd say in a SONIC capacity, it's the inverse of, say, House music.

Re: upthread, I don't know if I agree that black metal is an inverse of House Music. It has a steady, relentless beat and winds people up! Also, there is a lot of crossover with electronic music in general, if not house in particular, not that that really means anything tangy.
