is it becoming *the* u.s. indie festival to go to? with vomit-inducing rides, corn on the cob, assless chaps, margaritas, and a $7 entrance fee....

I'm excited to see Silversun Pickups, Moving Units, and Rilo Kiley. There's finally some good indie-minded bands in L.A. And, yes, the assless chaps.

Don't forget about all the fun and excitement that entails driving around silverlake for 45 minutes trying to find a parking spot!

Lineup looks pretty good tho. I only went for sleater kinney last year. Looks like I might have to go to both days now..

Despite my pro-hipster leanings, even I have trouble dealing with more than a few minutes in the vicestore. I went to a party there one night and was filled with this mortal dread of the place. Of course, I'm fairly dedicated to engaging with my fears, so maybe I'll go in and buy socks or something.
