At the end of my copy of Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Song Book, there are some alternative takes. I recognize this voice from my Billie Holiday on Verve set: it must be Norman Granz. He has a great no-nonsense voice, like a taxi cab dispatcher.
