stevem, "3-2-1 Fire" has remixes by Trisco, Trinacria and Dubaholics. Shouldn't be too hard to find out which one it is...

Does an ILM give a shit about HEARTBREAK? http://www.myspace.com/heartbreak1
An Argentinian dude and British dude who moved to London. Lex Records are putting their album out at the end of September. It's pretty fun despite/because of being very, very stylised but the whole press release and assorted other bumph bangs on and on about the metal influence on the album which as far as I can tell is completely nonexistent. This is an actual quote from Dazed & Confused which might be the most retarded thing I've ever read: "the closest the world will ever get to an Ozzy Osbourne/Jake Shears/Giorgio Moroder/Obituary collaboration." There is no way you could listen to the record and write that in good faith. But yeah, this is enjoyable on first play! Interested to see if there's gonna be a lot of this stuff coming out on non-boutique labels like Lex in the next 12 months or whatever

I liked it until the point when the vocals came in but then it seemed a bit contrived.

Memory Tapes - "Stop Talking"
From the very first time I heard this track I was struck by how much it sounds like a new italo disco song, but somehow without sounding derivative. Big chunks of it sound like they could've been from 1983 or 2009.
