..which I'm guessing was put in because there were server speed/performance issues, yes?

Is there a trick to being able to properly search ILX for a thread, because all my attempts have failed so far. Is it just that Google, for whatever reason, doesn't have those threads in its database, and I'm SOL?

sigh, "search"

Yeah, it's entirely dependent upon what's in the Google DB, I'm afraid.

It is a temporary issue and right now it's basically a matter of balancing out having the search function but having the boards keep seizing up like yesterday and no search function but ILX functionality, and for now it's the former. It is being looked into.

! Well, do tell, if you like. Andrew in Australia has graciously been hosting things for a while on a server there.

OH I WON'T.

Seriously speaking, drop Mark Sinkah a line. I honestly don't think we have an immediate need for one but it's always good to have a backup (and then again maybe Andrew is getting tired of us lamers).
