Just found this totally by accident. Listening to 'Safe In Mind' with Josh Homme of QOTSA on vocals. Anyone heard the whole thing? What do you think?

Mostly just a pile of ass. A couple good ones. Mostly MOR wannabe hipster ambient/techno.

The best, though is the lead-off track.

I'M GOOOOING THROUGH CHAAANGES

Wait, the lead off track is a cover of Black Sabbath?

Back and Forth consists of a stupid sample of some hobo on the streets of San Francisco and about a minute in it's the Sabbath sample. AWESOME

I like it, but the track with Jarvis Cocker and Brian Eno seems kind of inconsequential - and I'm assuming Jarvis just helped with the actual music 'cause I can't hear a damn vocal anywhere.

The Josh Homme track is sweet.

Reminds me of that Godspeed track sampling some hobo on the streets of Providence who (after a few conspiratorial rants) starts quoting Iron Maiden's "Virus" under the pretense of it being his own poetry. Awesome.

one year passes...
Should I assume this was released in the UK way back? It just came out in the US.

Most of it bores me but I really like (forgive me, I don't have titles with me) "What Are You To Me" (track 6), the Ian Brown track, the Massive Attack guy's track.

I loved that first UNKLE record. Ahhh....misty water colored memories.

No Shadow on this one right? James Lavelle seems rather yawny lately.

well it was yawny as soon as tim goldsworthy left (and that was before the first album).
