Or, how many albums do you have with the words "live" and "Fillmore" in the title?

oh I totally forget that Santana and Jefferson Airplane both released archival ones in the mid-90's, uh "natch". Live at the Fillmore and Live at the Fillmore East, respectively. And they're both great!

H (Heruy), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 08:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Sorry to state the screamingly obvious but I rather think you'll find that the most popular live album title by quite a wide lead(!) is in fact the painfully original: "Live"

John Hiatt-"Hiatt Comes Alive At Budokan!?"

Charles McCain (Charles McCain), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I've got The Who, Hendrix, Alman Bros., Zappa, and Miles Davis Live at the Filmore albums. Two of the Miles ones (one = East, the other = West).

I've seriously been thinking for months about calling my next solo studio album Live at the Filmore, just for shits and giggles. I think all my fans (ie my mom and my ex girlfriends) would find it funny.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

so does the Fillmore have like really great acoustics or nice in-house recording equipment or what?

Al (sitcom), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 19:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Bill Graham being the owner probably had something to do with it

H (Heruy), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 19:31 (twenty-two years ago)

eight years pass...

You could make a pretty good list of jazz records just from these places.

Live at the Village Vanguard
Live at Birdland
Live at the Five Spot
Live at the Lighthouse
Live at the Half Note
Live at Newport
Live at Montreux
