Default genres: For the longest time, when I had no ideas but just HAD to record something, I'd do a reggae song. Now it's disco. What do you guys do?

With me I think it's just a matter of finally programing a decent beat into the Korg ES-1, and then going with it (I just programed a beat that almost copies the drums from Stevie Wonder's "Superstitious" so I'm doing the disco thing with it, but before then it was reggae/dub all the way). What do you record when you've just got a hankering to fill up some tape space on the TASCAM 4-trk?

The old drumless guitar tune with thick-ass distortion is always an easy one. In the same garden as MBV - "Sometimes." Maybe with some chunkier Megaslaytallicathrax riffs buried in there.
