His first ambition was to be a pilot, but once at Lyndhurst Primary School, football started to take over as the big passion in Mark's life. He went up to St. Augustine of Canterbury School and still it was football that consumed his every hour. He had trials with Huddersfield Town, Rochdale and the mighty Manchester United followed, but though lowly Rochdale asked him back he decided the life of a professional sportsman was 'too much like hard work'.
He had several jobs after leaving school, being the first in a boutique called Zuttis, he even worked on Barclays Bank but the one that changed his life was a part-time job at the Strawberry Studios.
That's where he met Gary Barlow, who was by then recording a demo tape and invited Mark to make backing-vocals on it. They started working together as Cutest Rush and when they approached local manager Nigel Martin-Smith to take over their affairs he put them together with two young breakdancers called Howard Donald and Jason Orange. After an audition Robbie Williams was added to the band and Take That were born!
Take That worked really hard and in the following five years they managed to get 14 singles into the UK Top 20. Mark had his first vocal spotlight on a duet with Gary in a song called "How Can It Be" (a B-side of the single "A Million Love Songs"). The song "Babe" sang by Mark got to No. 1 on Christmas 1994. He was also lead vocalist on Nobody Else's "The Day After Tomorrow".
Robbie left on July 17th 1995 and after an overwhelming tour, a new album and single, Take That splitted up on April 5th 1996, leaving behind them four albums, eight No.1 singles and millions of heart-broken fans all over the world. But whoever could have thought Mark's career was over was really wrong. Mark didn't had time for holidays and he promptly started working on his solo album.
His first solo single was "Child" released on November 18th 1996. It was followed by the album named "Green Man" and the singles "Clementine" and "I Am What I Am". He made a successful european tour in 1997 and then disappeared from the public eye.
Meanwhile he has been writing his second solo album, he got in trouble with his record-company RCA and leaved them in 1999. He often take part in charity actions (such as Soccer Six). He recently worked with a group called "Space" in their new album.
He lives happy with his long-term girlfriend Joanna Kelly in Lake District, getting more and more enlightned every day...

Mark enjoyed a new wave of fame late last year after winning the celebrity version of popular interactive TV show Big Brother. This culminates with the forthcoming release of his new single 'Six Feet Under' and an attempt to revive his pop career.

However I must advise extreme caution before embarking on such any action.
Firstly, unless I've missed something (which, to be entitely fair, does include the entire UK Top 40 for most of the last two decades) I think the jury's still out on whether there is any any actual evidence of this resurrection of which you speak.
I also imagine that, even were you able to prove that Mr Owen's career had been resurrected, you'd have a bit of difficulty in demonstrating the attribution of causality for that resurrection to an event that actually took place more than two years ago.
Also, in order to sue for damages, you would also need to demonstrate that you had personally suffered specifically identifiable and quantifiable (in financial terms) damage or loss as a result.
Finally, by raising this matter, you might find yourself in danger of being counter-sued for astronomical damages by those who would claim that actually it would have been a lot preferable if it had been that nice little Mark Owen who had been the former member of Take That to have a successful solo career rather than that cocky, swaggering, narcissistic buffoon Robbie Williams

If so; and given that a significant number of people do seem to be analysing your approach, style and preoccupations and reaching this conclusion; I recommend that you try to analyse why Calum is so uniformly despised on this forum, learn from some of his (many) mistakes and distance yourself from him as far as possible by not aping him; starting with recognising that accusing people of being "gay" as a form of abuse makes you look at best incredibly immature and at worst damnably homophobic; and as such is hardly conducive to making any of us want to engage in serious conversations about important matters such as (just to pluck one at random off the top off my head) animal experiments and vivisection, should you ever wish to do so at any future date.

Indeed you are quite side-splittingly hilarious.
I, on the other hand, am a handsome and dashing Prince and will one day marry a beautiful Princess (but only as long as I clean my teeth and wash behind my ears every day and have nice clean finger nails).
My Mummy said so.
