I mean, why has no one made a dope dub of Sean Paul's "Like Glue," fer instance? Why has no intrepid version surgeon attampted some of the more popular modern dancehall tracks?

Or has someone?

Because making versions of dancehall riddims is the bread and butter of dancehall..."Like Glue" is on the Buy out riddim...you can buy a Greensleeve compilation of 15 or so versions.

no thanks. :)

actually dig Greensleeves - especially the one with the Martial Arts ridddim - i can listen to that all day - but i can't really rationalize dropping $18 every time they release one

On some cheap mix CD I bought, there was a brief Sean Paul "Gimme the Dub" track. Was good, too.
