i was reading something a while ago (can't remember what, unfortunately) which referred to jay-z's "passsionate anti war rhymes on his punjabi mc remix" or something
anyway,i just listened to it again, and there only seemed to be one verse, which didn't mention the war at all
so have i not got the proper version?
is there more than one?

They cut the second verse to play it on the radio in America, I think. He just says something about screaming Leave Iraq alone and supporting the troops.

conquer war. jay-z?

yeah, all the anti-war sentiment is in the 2nd verse, which is why a lot of U.S. stations play the 1-verse version. it goes "we rebellious, we back home, screamin' leave Iraq alone, but all my soldiers in the field I will wish you safe return, but only love kills war, when will they learn?"
