Gigolo Aunts - C or D?

As mentioned on my Wipers thread, Virgin Megastore has this "Virgin Recommends" wall of CDs. To my surprise, Gigolo Aunts have a new album out (surprise #1 that someone paid them to make another one and surprise #2 that Virgin Recommends it).

Now, I've been a fan of theirs since high school, mainly 'cuz they hail from my home town, but I actually really do like their albums, too. Sometimes I cringe when they are dorky, but more often I am blown away by how much they've progressed and what they come up with and, also, that nobody seems to care!

So, has anyone heard the new album? What do you think of it? What do you think of the band?
