nnnno. not the stuff of theirs i know anyway. it's reasonably typical pretty Earworm/Enraptured/Mind Expansion sorta stuff in a Fuxa/Windy and Carl vein.

the EP on Jonathan Whiskey is nice, as are most of their 7" singles. i haven't heard the full length on Enraptured but i don't imagine it being a massive departure.

fave singles of theirs are the ones on Bearos ("Hold Up") and Awkward Silence (they have two splits with Portal i think)

two years pass...

Revive to note that they've just released a 3 disc (priced for 1!) compilation of rarities, singles, etc., The Beautiful Season Has Past, on RROOPP, which looks to be a very promising label indeed. Anyway, the compilation is just flat out marvellous and should be investigated by anyone with an interest in this general sound. The usual suspects like Darla and Tonevendor and etc. are carrying this in the US.

And rerevive to say that my copy of his limited edition Merry6mas box, compiling his last ten years worth of seasonal CDs/CDRs plus extra tracks and things, just arrived. And it looks great!

Jon has back catalog reissues larger than most bands' complete discographies. Anyway been listening to this new reissue today -- 2 pounds/4 bucks for three and a half hours of music!
