I like everything except for "You're Gonna Get Your Fingers Burned", "Psychobabble", and "Step By Step". Those songs blow goats. But the rest of it is awesome, probably my favourite Pink Floyd album by far.

Are their other records any good?

"Old and Wise" is beautiful.

The song, Eye In The Sky, is SO WONDERFUL, and was one of my favourite songs all summer. I picked up the album from a dollar bin, but haven't been able to hook up my turntable since(i've moved), and as such hev;t heard it. I do like the cover and album art.

But yeah, Eye in the Sky, as a song, is CLASSIC. a perfect song for the morning.

It's a weird song lyrically - the verses sound like they're about a dying relationship but the chorus sounds like it's some dystopian sci-fi thing. But, yeah, I totally bought the album just because of that one song.

i recently made a soft rock hits of the 70s mix cd (and one for the 60s) and this song was on it. good shit

The segue into it from the opening instrumental "Sirius" is really smooth.

eight years pass...

I have recently become obsessed with "Eye in the Sky"

It's a stone-cold classic. So simple, but with some interesting little chord changes. "The sun in your eyes made some of the lies worth believing" is a great lyrical tidbit.

I love both the song and the album (the former more than the latter, of course).

found this song equal turns creepy and hypnotic as a kid, returning to it as an adult gave me a whole different appreciation of it.

oddly, I hate the Pink Floyd-period that it bears closest resemblance to.

I heard this song in an airport bar the other day, and it gave me the chills like whoa. I'd never before realized what a creeptastic slice of perfection it is.
