Tell me about the album. Should I get it? I'm thinking I'm going to get it anyway, but I'd like some opinions. And I'd also like to know if she's queer or not. I've heard rumors, but nothing substantial enough for me to add her to the team roster.

I like it quite a bit. It's got a waltz! The four tet remix of "Carmella" is a highlight too. There are a few duddy parts, but if you're a fan, they're forgivable.

FWIW, I can confirm the Ryan Adams fling, I think. Well, he didn't *say* he slept with her, but he said something along the lines of holy crap, everyone who hears her is in love with her so yeah there was something. She keeps her nails short but that doesn't mean anything necessarily.

I really hope she is not a lesbian. Not for the usual reasons but because I saw her once when I was really drunk and she was very boring so I started repeatedly yelling "Acoustic Lesbian Music! Awriiight!" and pissed everyone off. I was being a drunken asshole and I am deeply sorry.

yeah, obv it's not a hard and fast rule, but if a person happens to be using their fingers a lot on another person, it's polite to keep them trim and neat. Bitten to the quick is not necessary, but those long salon nails are not happenin'.
