I ask this because I bought the best-of Camel album because I saw it in the record store and thought it would be funny to buy and tell people I bought it because I thought it would sound like cigarettes. It turned out to be pretty entertaining. Not so much "good" or "rocking" or "interesting", but pretty damn entertaining never the less.

they were basically the midpoint between Genesis and Pink Floyd, but without a strong central personality driving things. i'd say everything from the snow goose through breathless is worth hearing if you're into this kind of thing.
