Oh please. The Voidoids's time on that mix is past. If you're going to lay the Cohen card a track before the end you'd better step up and really mean it. You want to invoke the "Goodbye to All That" feel, your last song (depending on how much time is left on the tape) should be the "Time it was and what a time it was...: Simon and G song off Bookends--not the right era, but short enough and the right feel. If not, you should go: Roadrunner --Chinese Rocks--Tonight Will Be Fine (also L.C and pref. the live version with the honky-tonk strings)--Waterloo Sunset-- Train In Vain.

I'd stick A Young Marble Giants track in the middle (poss. Final Day), for dynamic reasons, but without ruining the continuity. I think Ivor Cutler (one of his spoken pieces) is de rigeur on these occasions too.
