Haven't heard anything about the former yet and am more than intrigued by the latter given what I've heard already

I've had a promo of the new Vibert for a few weeks now (review on Stylus some time next week, I think). Bits of it are very good indeed ("I Love Acid" and "Acidisco" beign the highlights).

is that the 'Yoseph' LP?

Yep.

Seconded on YosepH. Splendid record. Glad he's doing more funky acid stuff these days - I really liked Big Soup but always took it to be a kind of one-off, the BJ Cole collaboration held far less interest than I expected it to, and the Amen Andrews 12"s are good but it's a bit like, I'm doing this cos I can.

Amen Andrews boots floated my boat more than Yoseph promo. It was a bit straight ahead, samey for me.

"Acidisco" off Yoseph is the shizzle. The rest is kinda boring, sadly, and I used to be a huge Vibert fan.
