I dunno about "Many Men", but didn't he do "Poor Lil Rich"? that beat is a monster. I think I like him as a producer more than a rapper, seriously.

Xzibit - My Name
Xzibit - Don't Approach

I like him as a producer too, but I don't think he should always produce his own stuff. Some of his self-productions are great ("The Way I Am," obviously, "Without Me," etc.). But the last album suffered a little bit from that martial Marshall flow. The Dre tracks really jumped out not so much because they were great (although they were) as because they broke up the monotony. I'd like to hear him as a vocalist work with more producers. And I'd like to hear him as a producer work with more vocalists.

wow, he seriously did Renegade/Many Men/Patiently Waiting? those are MONSTER tracks. i've found it easy to write him off as a producer for a while now, but I dunno now. okay, well, post-"Sing For The Moment" it's still not that hard, but still.

For some reason I thought he produced 'wanksta' by 50 cent. Am I wrong?

Yeah, Renegade is great. I totally forgot he did The Cross, even though I'd been listening to that album a lot recently (not as big a shocker as the hot Alicia Keys-produced track though).
