I never could get into "Mommy, Can I Go Out & Kill Tonight?", and must admit that I'm surprised to see someone considering it one of their best. A friend of mine considered it the best Misfits song too, and kept playing it back in the days (back in the days being five years ago!)
I dunno, it's funny, but the actual song just never did much for me; to me it never really had anything for me to grab onto, aside from it being kinda funny. I have the same problem with a lot of the Earth AD stuff (though "Death comes ripping" is excellent)
Funny too, since I like so much unmelodic grindy and hardcory stuff.

"Mommy, Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight?" was probably the first thing I'd ever heard by them (courtesy of a mix tape), and when I sought them out, the first thing I picked up was the 7" of "Halloween", which sounded nothing like "Mommy,...". Nor for that matter did later stuff. Still, I love it. Their true strength, however, was their seamless merging of melody and brute force.

I don't recall any of their tunes, but I know that I liked them more than Jem.
