about the extent of my knowledge is soundmurderer, dj/rupture, & remarc, enduser, & bong-ra... although i hear they are all revivalists. i like some of the noiser & abrasive ragga/jungle like soundmurderer & bong-ra. any "1st-wave" (so to speak) pioneers?

also, anyone know any good old ragga/dancehall/reggae? about all i have is a bunch of greensleeves singles.

thanks.

Try and get the 3 Jungle Mania cd's from 90's. They were like cheap commercial comps sold in Woolworths but are totally essential for mental jungle stuff, a bit like what Jess was saying about Lord Of The Decks-Fellowship Of The Mic but more so. I got Jungle Mania 2 for my 11th birthday on tape and still listen to it in my walkman today. It will probably be on slsk or something, seek it out.

I just searched and there's bare copies on slsk, all you've got to do is loooook for it

very few albums, it's more about the dub plates, mixtapes etc.

Shy FX and Marvellous Cain both put albums out in '95 which seemed a bit of a bold move - i never heard them tho.
